Excellent customer service. My flight was delayed so my arrival in Whangarei changed, they held the car without extra charge. That kind of flexibility is rare. Muy agradecido.

Straightforward process. No queue at the desk. Car was ready, tires looked good which is important for the winding roads up north. Drove to Russell, car handled the ferry traffic well.

Car was fine but the pickup process took 25 minutes even though I had a reservation. Staff was polite though. The vehicle had a weird smell like cigarettes. Maybe just unlucky.
